Clown Shoes Royal Standard Wee Heavy Ale
I've been reading about ales bittered with heather instead of hops so I was eager to try this. I wouldn't really call it a Scotch Ale, but it was a really good beer regardless. Sadly I think I must have missed the heather somewhere along the line but I enjoyed the experience anyway. It's a lovely amber brown with a good malty nose, but carbonation may be just a little OTT. Recommended.
