Trappistes Rochefort

This little guy rocketed instantly into being one of my all time favourite beers and I awarded it 9½ stars on the spot. There's nothing not to love about this good, honest 9.2% ale. Now, Keith opined that it doesn't have anything uniquely outstanding about it, and in fairness he's right. It's just BEER and it's really, really good. It has a delicious malty flavour with excellent hop balance and great mouth feel. It doesn't really yell "Trappist" at me, but it is an absolutely excellent brew. Besides, if someone actually yelled "Trappist" at me, I would probably display my middle finger and respond "Trappist yourself!" whilst giving them a stern look.  I rate this beer Very Highly Recommended and I strongly suggest you try it at your earliest opportunity.
