Lazy Mutt Chocolate Cherry Stout from Rhinelander Brewing Company was a little bit of a disappointment. Not in overall terms; actually I quite enjoyed this. But more because I couldn't really taste the claimed '...added chocolate and cherry juice'. It's certainly not your typical stout but it does contain the deep, smoky, roasted flavours that stout drinkers are used to. Generously hopped, this 5.5% ale goes down easily and is something you ought to try. Maybe you'll get more out of it than I did. Recommended.
