Dead Frog Immaculate India Golden Ale

Dead Frog Immaculate India Golden Ale is somewhat of a schizophrenic beer. On the one hand it's got a pleasant flavour, particularly from their choices of hops. One the other hand I can absolutely believe its claim to fifty IBUs (International Bittering Units) because it really is sour and leaves an unpleasantly acidic aftertaste. Honestly, it tastes like a LOT more than fifty. Whilst I was unable to detect the orange it claims to contain, the flavour of this 6.5% brew has a pleasing maltiness with both barley and white wheat malts. However, like all the Dead Frog products that I've tried, their unnecessary enthusiasm for over-hopping has spoiled this for me, and that's a shame. Not Recommended.

In fairness, I should add that if they were to dial back the hops this would be a really good beer. How about it guys?
